This SA [Sturmabteilung] Wingen Dagger in EXC+ condition. Model 1933. The total length is 37.3 cm. Early Nickel fittings, lower guard with "He" stamp. The Dagger has the maker mark on the blade: Carl Julius Krebs Solingen.

Grip: The grip is a beauty, it is of High Ridge construction and in perfect condition. The SA runes button is nicely placed and has excellent enamel, while the nickel grip eagle is fully detailed throughout. It is the style with the upward pointing beak. The crossguards have excellent smooth surfaces, with well-defined edges and sharply cut accent grooves. The lower reverse guard is gruppe marked “He”.

Blade: The blade of this example is still grades at about EXC++. The SA motto Alles für Deutschland «Everything for Germany» is deep. The company logo is on the reverse ricasso: Carl Julius Krebs Solingen. The blade shoulders meet the crossguard contour.

Scabbard: The scabbard shell is straight throughout. The mounts are also choice through to the lower ball. They exactly match the patination of the crossguards, and are retained by four nickel screws.
