Kriegsmarine M40 Single Decal Helmet

German M40 Kriegsmarine Helmet - Steel helmet, magnetic, original field gray painted exterior, the gold-coloured Navy (Kriegsmarine) insignia on the left side exhibiting a pair of scuff marks. The inside comes complete with its original eight-panel leather liner, stitched together at the rear, each panel with five ventilation holes, a reinforced hole on the end of each panel with leather reinforcing rings on the undersides, for the feeding of the drawstring. The leather chinstrap is affixed to the liner's steel frame. The underside of the skirt is stamped "Q6 DN19". Measures 283 x 230 mm, in EXC+ condition.
