SS [Schutzstaffel] Honour Dagger in early Version. Modell 1933. The dagger is in near mint condition throughout. This early SS Dagger is with full Ernst Röhm inscription by very rare maker mark for rohm daggers Robert Klaas Solingen.
Grip: This grip shows no repairs, and fits the crossguards. The runes displays good enamel, and the silvering to the runes and double-circled borders nicely match. The grip eagle is the early, “High Necked” variety. All the details are visible throughout the bird's feathering, talons, wreath, and mobile swastika. This early dagger is equipped with nickel crossguards and tang nut. These guards are in good shape. Both crossguards are marked with H & X on the inside. Lower crossguard stamped with "III" [Berlin].
Blade: Mirror polished blade grades mint The crisp, deeply etched SS-motto Meine Ehre heißt Treue «My honor is loyalty» and Himmler inscription In herzlicher Kameradschaft Ernst Röhm retain 100% of the medium gray background frosting. The reverse ricasso of the blade is matching-etched formed by the firm's name and location, “Robert Klaas Solingen”. The blade shoulders perfectly meet the lower crossguard contour.
Scabbard: Steel scabbard retains approximately 98% of the original anodization and factory lacquer with no crazing or oxidation. Nickel-silver scabbard fittings with screws.
