SA Rohm Honor Dagger [Ernst Röhm] by Carl Eickhorn Solingen

SA honor dagger with professionally cut Rhöm dedication [early production] by "CARL EICKHORN - SOLINGEN" with hanger, belt loop, expertise and accompanying documents in an exclusive presentation box. A very beautiful and rare honor dagger of the Sturmabteilung [SA] in early production by the well-known manufacturer "Carl Eickhorn - Solingen" in an absolutely rare patented "dagger carrying hanger" with belt loop, expertise and accompanying documents in an exclusive presentation case..

Grip: The mounts on this example are all solid nickel. The lower crossguard is Gruppe marked, «No» Nordsee. This grip is of medium contour construction and is in nice condition. The SA runes button is perfectly placed. This eagle is in fine condition throughout having full details to its head, eye, breast and wing feathering, talons, wreath and mobile swastika.

Blade: The blade is in near mint condition. The SA motto is crisp and deep having most of the darkening in the background letters. The ricasso area still has the full trademark Carl Eickhorn Solingen.

Scabbard: The scabbard shell is a fine example, having just about all of the original anodized surface. There is also some original lacquer scattered around the scabbard. A few minor age spots are visible in the finish, but overall it is a pretty nice example. The scabbard mounts are of solid matching nickel, in good condition with just a minor ding to the bottom of the lower ball.
