Luftwaffe Dagger [1937] with blade etching on both sides - "Emil Voos" design

This 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger, produced by Emil Voos and is in NEAR MINT condition overall. Model 1937. The total length is 43.2 cm. The Dagger has blade etching on both sides - "Emil Voos" design.

Grip: The grip of this dagger is a beauty, being a shade of dark orange and is tightly wrapped with wire. The pommel is a great example. The oak leaves which surround the swastikas are extremely well rendered and hand engraved right up to the smooth center ridge line.

Blade: The blade is in near mint condition throughout. This blade is etched on both sides. The leather washer is in place.

Scabbard: The scabbard is also a fine example. The throat is slightly thick and is retained by two screws.
