German Paratrooper Gravity Knife by SMF Solingen

This Luftwaffe Gravity Knife has very fine nickeled mounts throughout which are all in exc condition with good strong springs. The marlin spike appears to have its original tip and it has a waffen amt in the corner featuring a stickbird with the number 5 in his belly. The grip plates are a fine grained walnut both of which are in good condition. A very fine example here with good strong springs and rare maker mark: SMF Solingen.

...allerdings wäre es richtig gewesen, dazu zuschreiben, dass es sich nicht um den originalen Arretierknopf handelt, sondern um eine Nachfertigung, die allerdings die Bruchgefahr der Feder mindert bzw. dieses Problem beseitigt.
