Deluxe-Senior Forest Officials Dress Cutlass. Plain, gilted brass hilt fittings. Below is a clamshell having a left quillion that rises upward, ending in a teardrop. The clamshell is decorated with oak leaves surrounding a stag having his head in a downward position appearing to butt a tree withhis antlers. The senior grip plates are a most beautiful bone being in EXC++ condition. All three of the original acorns are in place on both grips. Plated double-etched blade. Blade etch features floral motif flanking a central panel with hunting scenes of hounds, foxes, stag and doe herd with minor wear to the background frosting. Dent-free leather scabbard. Dent-free, upper and lower gilted brass plain fittings retain virtually 100% of the factory fire gilting and lacquer and are complete with both retaining staples.
